AirDrop

AirDrop is a new utility that gives you the ability to wirelessly transfer files and media between computers using Wi-Fi. When activated, AirDrop automatically discovers users around you who are also using the utility and gives you the ability to simply drag the desired file onto their icon. The receiving computer will be presented with an option to accept or deny the transfer. If the transfer is accepted, the file will transfer to their downloads folder. When you are done sending files, simply close that finder window and you will be removed from other users AirDrop window.

AirDrop functions through Wi-Fi only and does not transfer via a wired network. A very nice feature of AirDrop is that you do not need to be connected to a Wi-Fi router in order for it to work as it will seamlessly create a computer to computer connection.
