Migration Assistant
Migration Assistant is an application that will transfer files and settings from one computer to another. While Migration Assistant has been a feature of Mac OS X since 10.4 "Tiger", it has been limited to migrating from Mac to Mac. Until now, users making the switch from a Windows computer to a Mac have had to resort to third party migration software to get the job done. With Lion, Migration Assistant has gained the ability to migrate files not only from Mac to Mac, but from Windows to Mac. This will undoubtedly make switching from a Windows PC to a Mac easier than it has ever been before.
