iCloud Keychain

iCloud is a great way to sync important data between multiple devices. A simple login with an iCloud account can provide access to Mail, Contacts, Calendars, Reminders, Notes, Safari, Photos, Documents and Data, and more. In OS X Mavericks, iCloud has extended its reach to include iBooks and iCloud Keychain.

iCloud Keychain provides the ability to remember user names and passwords for websites. They are stored in iCloud with protection through strong 256-bit AES encryption. Any approved device using the same iCloud login will always have the most current versions of the username and password. iCloud Keychain includes a password generator that produces very strong passwords for online accounts to thwart identity theft. When a website requests the information it is automatically filled-in. Credit card information can also be stored an iCloud Keychain to simplify and speed-up purchases.
