Safari
Safari moves to version 8 in OS X Yosemite. It brings a revised interface, faster browsing experience, and harnesses an intelligent smart search.
The toolbar is thinner and provides more screen real estate to web browsing. If more than one tab is open the screen real estate is about the same as previous versions of Safari. Faster JavaScript rendering, improved energy efficiency, Private Browsing in a new window, HTML5 Premium video WebGL enhancements which reduces the need for third-party plugins.

The Smart Search field now includes a "+" button that manages adding new links to Reading List, Top Sites, Favorites, and Bookmarks.

The Share button adds the option to add the page to the Reading List, posting it on FaceBook, Twitter, or Linked In, as well as through Messages. Previous recipients are shown as well to speed-up the delivery time.

Tab View will let you see all of your tabs at once in a grid to help navigate open tabs. You can also see tabs that are open on other computers or devices using the same Apple ID and running OS X Yosemite or iOS 8. The tab view can be accessed by selecting the "Show all tabs" button to the right of the Share button.
