Several Apple executives, including Eddy Cue and Ian Rogers, took to social media this weekend to stir up some excitement about the impending release of iOS 8.4, Beats 1, and Apple Music.

Rogers spilled the beans first, telling visitors to his personal blog that iOS 8.4 will appear at 8 AM PT on Tuesday, June 30, with Beats 1 going live at 9 AM PT. After noting that he feels that his life has been leading up to the launch of Apple Music, Rogers said that:

“Tuesday morning we’ll be unveiling the next chapter. Please make a note to upgrade to iOS 8.4 at 8am PT Tuesday, June 30th and listen to the first Beats 1 broadcast at 9am PT. Here’s a Facebook invite to make it easy for you to say yes, you’ll be there, and invite all your friends. See you there.”

Cue then followed a few hours later with a series of tweets with details about the transition to Apple Music, iTunes Match integration, and availability of the service in the iOS 9 beta:

When asked how Beats Music subscriptions would move to Apple Music, Cue answered that there will be an update to the Beats Music app to handle the migration:

Finally, Cue noted that a new iOS 9 seed will be needed to provide the mobile operating system beta with Apple Music:

Cue did not reply to questions from Twitter users asking when the iOS 9 beta seed would be available. iOS 9 beta 2 was just released five days ago.
