The silver tower Mac Pro is still hugely popular among the upgrade crowd as well as creative professionals. So, many were initially disappointed to learn that Mojave would leave it behind. However, that changed when it was annoucned that a GPU upgrade would bring compatibility back. It also makde it about as powerful as the newer Mac Pros (above).
